A reminder of your worth and how to prove it to yourself

What is worth let’s define it

Your worth is something that no one should be able to take away from you. It determines how people are supposed to treat you because of who you are. It is your value as a human being and all of us should have the same just for being on earth.

People tend to diminish other people to make themselves feel better and more powerful. They put people down so that they can get up. The people that suffer through this get lower self-esteem and they often feel like they are not enough.

If you are one of those people that often allows other people to make you feel less or the kind of people that feel like they need other people to determine their self-worth this post is going to include some tips on how to bring yourself up. First, let’s understand why do we tend to feel down when people talk to us.

Feeling Unworthy

When people talk to us in a negative way we enter one of two modes, or self-defense or victim. The victim mentality permits us to feel as if all of what they have said is maybe true. That gives them permission to feel superior to you and to tell you who you are.

Only you know who you truly are and your value as a person. No one can tell you that. We feel like this because normally the people that tell us this stuff, we have an emotional connection with and we trust them. We believe that they are right when they are not. We let ourselves be harmed. Maybe it is that we are not deserving of love or respect? If no one gives it to us we have to give it to ourselves

5 reasons to love yourself

1.Because you are worthy of it

Everyone has a worth and a value for just being themselves and from being a human being

2.Because you are a human being

Human beings need to feel like they are enough when they do not feel like they are enough it becomes really hard to be completely happy

3.Because it is a bare necessity

If someone is making you feel like you are not worthy then remember that it is a bare necessity for them to make you feel like you are enough. If someone is not making you feel like that then talk about it.

4.Because you have to love yourself first before loving others

You need to know and understand that your wellbeing, safety and mental health comes before others. You can’t help anyone if you are not good by yourself. You also can’t rely on anyone to make you feel worthy or happy.

5.Because self-love is the biggest kind of love you will ever receive

Self-love feels way nicer than the love that anyone else gives you. It is the most important and unconditional type of love. People leave, but you are stuck with yourself for the rest of your life. Learning to give yourself value and love is the most important lesson.

I love myself despite my choices in life and the outcomes of it.

In conclusion, we need to recognize that we don’t need people to determine our worth or value. We can’t let people make us feel less because of who they believe you are. Only you know yourself fully and your reasons and motives to do the things you wish to do. Listen to yourself and your guts. You don’t need anyone for this, you are enough from just being you but that doesn’t mean that there isn’t any room for improvement.

We can always be better but that desire has to come from the inside do it because you want to, do it because you love yourself. Never do it because someone tells you you are not enough to do it from the bottom of your heart for your own benefit. You don’t need anyone to show you your worth, that is something that comes from the inside, but it is hard, so back away from people that don’t contribute anything to your life.
