Podcasts by women that help with healing and spirituality

Why do podcasts help?

Podcasts have been a way of introducing information to an audience for a long time. One year before Youtube existed “podcasting” came to life. They are different from the radio because you can specifically choose a topic you want to listen about and you don’t have to be paying attention to a screen to get the message. Podcasts are regularly used to inform people about a topic that is of interest, of news of the world, or to explain something hard to understand.

Lately, podcasts have expanded to things such as taboo topics, mental health, sexuality, and even the questioning of religion. Learning about these topics is beneficial because you don’t gain that much information from society or from school. Most importantly the mental health topic. Understanding how your brain works can help with the analysis of your behavior and the improvement of your life. For me, podcasts about positivity and spirituality help me get relaxed and feel peaceful. On the other hand, I also listen to podcasts on topics like codependency which is something that I wish to heal in myself. Below I want to give you a list of podcasts that I love and a brief description of what they are about.

7 Podcasts I love lately:

1.We heal together

This podcast by Cordelia has helped me a lot with understanding unhealthy patterns. She talks about topics from how to set boundaries and give good apologies to understanding our need for external validation. It is a podcast for people who are working on loving themselves, navigating codependency, shame and trauma and surviving abuse. Focusing on the fact that we all can learn from our experiences and heal together. Also, she gives advice from experience and gives really good examples which makes it relatable and easier to understand. Not to mention that she provides wonderful free tools on the descriptions of her episodes to help you heal.

2. The Codependent Perfectionist

This podcast focuses on the different types of codependency and explains them in depth. This one has helped me a lot in really understanding what codependency means and its causes. They relate codependency to different aspects of life such as spirituality, relationships, food, alcohol, and perfectionism. Also, they discuss in several different episodes how this codependency comes to be. The podcasts are especially great for codependent parents as they discuss a lot of family dynamics. Alana Carvalho uses her work as a therapist to help you understand how codependency plays a role in your life.

3.Heal, Survive & Thrive!

Stephanie Lynn is a life and relationship coach who focuses on breakups and the healing that comes with them. She discusses a lot of taboo conflicts in relationships such as co-parenting issues, trauma bonding, narcissism, and emotional unavailability. This podcast doesn’t only help you understand yourself but also why your partner (or ex-partner) acted a certain way. In addition, she does this whiteout blame and with compassion helping you put yourself first.

4.That B***h is Positive

Changing the topic a little bit, Ciicii brings us a spiritual perspective to relationships and healing. She talks about the laws of the universe, how to connect with your intuition always with positive vibrant energy that keeps you wanting more. She has a way of raising your self-esteem every episode and making you realize who you are. Above all, when I am sad, she has never failed to bring up my mood.

5. MINDSET MAGIC & MANIFESTATION Podcast

In this podcast, Mikayla Jai focuses on techniques to manifest what you want in life. She explains how your mindset influences your life and provides you with examples of how she has made her life what she wants it. In other words, she inspires confidence and self-assurance as you can tell that she always puts herself first.

6. The Universe Just Recognized Herself

Abbey Castor uses her podcast to radiate beautiful energy. Talking about psychic abilities, intuition and healing she teaches so much through love. Her voice gives off a really glowing vibe that makes you feel at home.
