5 Tips To Understand The Way Energy Moves

Energy is the source of our life. How much of it we have dictates how we act and how we feel. That is why it is important to understand how we interact with energy and how it moves through our bodies.

The next 5 concepts are things that I have learned in the past few years of my life. Some of them have been inspired by the book The Celestine Prophecy by James Redfield.

This book talks about the evolution of humans through a spiritual, eye-opening view. It gives a few ideas on how the energy moves and interacts between us and our environment.

1. The energy of mother nature

I would like to start talking about the energy of the earth and mother nature. I feel like it is one of the most powerful forces of it that we have experienced.

When I think of this energy I also like to include the sun and the moon as they form part of my environment. We naturally have a connection with earth it is grounding and it is opening. The true pure energy starts showing when we start experiencing things around us as beautiful.

The Celestine Prophecy emphasizes that seeing this beauty feels like receiving love from our surroundings. When we perceive this beauty and accept it, the energy that we feel is love.

This connection that we have to love is crucial for feeling well and energized. It is the energy of life. If you try to feel it you’ll notice that it empowers you and awakens you.

2. The struggle for power

Energy moves between us when we interact as humans. Do you know when you feel drained after spending time with someone? Or when you feel a strong connection to someone?

That is you notice the energy moving between people. Not only does our energy interact when we connect with others but we also “compete for energy” as the Celestine Prophecy says.

We create a flow of energy between us in conversations, a receiving, and taking of energy. When we argue with others we fight to have more energy, to appear better and bigger than the others.

This can end up draining us or puffing us up with someone else’s energy. That is why eventually conflict becomes addicting because we seek that feeling of being full. What we miss is that we can get this feeling from another source, that being earth.

With the energy of love, we not only make our energy field bigger but we can also lighten others and increase their energy as well.

3. Femenine energy and masculine energy complete each other

You might have been hearing lately about the divine feminine energy and the divine masculine energy. There is a lot of confusion on how these interact with each other.

Some people explain them in a patriarchal view in which the feminine is weak and the only thing that it does is give and serve. In reality, feminine energy is about receiving, and masculine is about giving.

We need both to be balanced and complete on our own. When we are not, a need for the energy that we are missing starts.

That is when we start codependent relationships depending on the energy of the other person. We need to seek that balance between healthy feminine energy and healthy masculinity to avoid harmful patterns.

These two energies bring balance to the world, it is the yin and yang.

4. Recharging your energy with movement

We all know that during the day we consume energy while we move. Not having energy makes us tired. But moving also creates the flow of endorphins that make us feel energized.

When we use movement as a way to connect with our energy we create a pathway for energy to move throughout our body instead of being stuck.

Do you know that feeling you sometimes get in the morning of feeling stuck and full of something? That is stagnant energy that needs to move so that you don’t feel stuck.

What I like to do in the morning is yoga or maybe a little bit of dancing. This not only makes me happy but it makes that energy flow which in turn makes me feel much more alive.

5. Healing with energy

The last point connects to this one, which is that you can heal with energy. There are some advanced methods as those of Joe Dispenza, which are really interesting to read about.

For something, more day-to-day and more emotional healing focused I like EFT and breathwork. EFT means emotional freedom technique and it was been used for a long time to release stuck emotions and integrate them. It helps to understand what we are feeling better and to process our thoughts.

On the other hand, breathwork brings up emotions that have been hidden or stuck in our bodies and it allows us to feel them and bring them out.

These types of exercises help a lot with the processing of trauma and feelings. Once the energy moves you release so much that had been stuck.
